Nubra to Turtuk Village - Day Excursion
Approx Distance: 170 Km • Est. Travel Time: 10 hours
Drive to Turtuk after a nice breakfast. Turtuk is one of the gates to the Siachen Glacier and is the last outpost in India before entering Pakistan- controlled Gilgit-Baltistan. Because it is part of the Gilgit-Baltistan area, it is culturally, linguistically, and historically distinct from the rest of your Ladakh vacation . In comparison to Central Ladakh and Nubra, the terrain is very unique, with stunning small valleys and high mountains. Return to the hotel for a lovely meal. In Nubra Valley, spend the night in a camp.
