AIRPORT- PINNAWALA- KANDY

Arrive by (flt no) at (00hrs). Please clear immigration & visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs.

The Green Holiday Centre Representative will page you by your name. Thereafter you will be assisted to the Car park / Coach Park to begin you journey as per the booked itinerary.

Proceed to Kandy via Pinnawala elephant orphanage.

App. 55 miles from Colombo, off the Colombo – Kandy road is Pinnawala, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including Baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.

KANDY

After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a city tour of Kandy. Royal Botanical Gardens

147 acres in extent: started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the King’s of Kandy. There are more than 5000 species of tree and plants. Some and endemic as well as flora from the tropical world. Spice gardenand Orchid House are popular with Tourists.

Kandy: The hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession. Evening witness the Kandy Cultural Dance Performance.

KANDY- NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast at the hotel leisurely proceed to Nuwara Eliya visiting a tea factory plantation & Ramboda waterfall on the way.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya city tour.

Nuwara Eliya The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

Seetha Amman Temple The kidnapping of Sita by Ravana (was King of Lanka) - meant that Ravana had to hide Sita in several locations. The Seetha Amman temple was named after
the wife, Sitadevi, of Lord Rama. The structure was built on one of the exact sites where the demon king Ravana held Sita as his captive, in the Ashoka Forests of the region. From the past, due to the cruel activities of humans, there is a danger that turtles are facing extinction. This rare varieties of Sea Turtles are destroyed by man day by day. It is the duty of each and every one to take action to save these turtles from extinction for the sake of our future generation. Regarding this we started to save Sea Turtles in 1986 and up to now we have succeeded to attain the goal gradually.

Mangrove Boat ride in Madu River Madu River or the Madu Ganga is one of the natures fascinating creations off South West coast in Balapitiya. Madu Ganga is a lagoon with hundreds of islands providing an idyllic setting for a well spent holiday and loads of authentic traditional settings. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).

  • 50 advance to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Air fair is calcualted at the time of proposal creation and is subject to change at the time of booking.
  • 100 payment is to be made for domestic packages before 4 days of departure date.
  • 100 payment is to be made for international packages before 7 days of departure date.
  • In case of cancellation standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies

  • 30 days or more before date of departure : 25% of total cost

  • 29 - 20 days before date of departure : 50% of total cost

We have every answer to your query pertaining to the destinations.

  • In case of no-show or un utilised bookings, User shall be required to make requests for any valid and applicable refunds, as per Vendors&rsquo policies or within 15 days from the travel date (whichever is earlier). No refund would be payable for any requests made after the expiry of 30 days of travel date / check-in as aforementioned and all unclaimed amounts for such no-show or un utilised bookings shall accordingly be deemed to have been forfeited.
  • The refund shall be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of the cancellation request, after receiving back to back refund from the concerned Vendor. Payment will be refunded back into the same original payment instrument like the same credit card or bank account from which it was paid for the traveller. In case of Travel Agent (B2B Booking), refund or recharge or upload of any type is always credited in their agents Coral Holidays account balance. In case of agents account closure, the agent is supposed to consume its balance or clear their dues (if any). No money transfer will be done to travel agents bank account, in any circumstances.
  • In case user avails to book any of the Services offered by the Vendor and is, thereafter, not contactable on the contact details provided, then the tour/travel reservation selected by User will stand cancelled and Coral Holidays or the Vendor would not be liable for any charges/expenses incurred by User, either directly or indirectly in this regard.
  • Any Refund Claims arising due to cancellation / delay of flight by the Vendor shall be subject to Coral Holidays receiving the refund from the Vendor. In the Event Vendor does not refund the amount to the Coral Holidays, Coral Holidays shall not be held liable for the same.
  • Cancellation/Re-schedule of Flight Ticket upto 24 hours will be dealt by Coral Holidays. Less than 24 hours, the USER should cancel it directly with the airlines and inform Coral Holidays for the refund processing.
  • Coral Holidays shall charge a cancellation fees - varying from time to time and transaction to transaction and type of service. This fees will be over and above the Airlines Cancellation Fees. Similarly for other service like Bus Tickets etc., Coral Holidays will add it&rsquos own cancellation fees over the Vendor's cancellation Fees.
  • Cancellation Policy is defined and governed by the Vendor and Coral Holidays will not be able to do any changes around it. Refund will only be processed once the USER informs Coral Holidays.
  • Partial Cancellation may or may not be allowed - This will depend on the Vendor's Cancellation Policy.
  • Re-scheduling of Services (For e.g. Date Change in Flights) will incur Fare Difference, Airlines Re-schedule/Penalty Charges and Coral Holidays Re-schedule Charges.
  • Domestic and International Booking/Cancellation/Re-schedule will have different amount of fees for different Services.
  • Name Change, Title Change, Age Change, Sector Change etc. is generally not allowed by Vendors - Any such changes or more (not covered here) will not be entertained by Coral Holidays. The User need to work directly with the Vendor and Coral Holidays will not be responsible / liable in any form.
  • Once a confirmed ticket/service is booked/generated, Convenience Fees is not refundable under any circumstances. If you are booking a special discounted return fare then both sectors have to be cancelled together.
  • The USER will be solely responsible for the Visa, Passport or any other requirement for the travel. Coral Holidays will not be responsible for any inadequacy of any form.
  • Check the Baggage Allowance &ndash Cabin and Check-in &ndash No Free Baggage Allowance for Infants. Meals, Seats, Special Requests are not guaranteed. USER needs to check this with Vendor directly.
